Medical Technology
Look at medical advancements. Chemotherapy can help cure cancer! Then look at how much technology is saving babies all over the world. Premature babies ever since technology advancements have been surviving more and more. If that isnt enough then look at more of surgical teams, they are more precise and much safer than before when it was just slice and dice. Its easy to debate that technology is bad when your life hasnt been dependant on it. Giving a child or a grown man a new chance at life makes it all worth it. And as far as obesity that isnt the medicals fault or even remotely close to it, its peoples choices to choose to eat all that fatty foods. New diseases appeared before medical technology, and they evolve just as quick as we do to stop them, the truth is yes there are super bugs from over use of the same medicine but stopping using the medical technology wont help us againest them.
Without the medicines people would die from many of the illnesses we take for granted, medicine itself is only a stop gap until technology is invented that can directly intervene at the cellular level.
You do not need to be right to reap the rewards of technology, maybe some, but not all. And just remember, todays technology is tomorrows cheap
Chemo MIGHT cure cancer! While technology has come a long way in curing disease and helping bind injuries it has also had negative consequences. Our use of antibiotics are leading to superbugs that are resistant and more deadly while our way of life is creating new medical problems from obesity to new strains of flu.
Also only if you are rich to you reap the true rewards from these.

We use it to communicate to long distance family.
Then you should throw your cell phone and computer away before your sight and hearing goes! QUICK! QUICK!
People are spending too much time communicating that can cause seeing and hearing problems

When we use cameras we can look back at them and remember the day or what happen on that day. Like weddings birthday and more. And camera is one.

would a painting not do as well or even better to mark such an occasion? Having thousands of photos cheapens them.

Microwave is a source of heating or warming up food.
Most people have it because it is like a smaller oven but what people don't know is that
microwave is one. Most people need it and have it.

Cell phone is the most important thing in our life. we use it to see how people are when something happens.
We communicate with people. Now days there are gps on our kids phone which can track them down.
Also people use as a daily need. So i know cell phone is one!

People get more brain damage from listening to people who claim cell phones create brain damage than they ever would from a cell phone. People are spending more and more time on them because they are a tool that aids and eases our society. We have music, movies, games, gps, communication and the internet at our fingertips wherever we are. That is beyond incredible even though cell phones are great they can also produce hearing problems and brain damage. because phones are becoming so great more people are getting them and peole are spending more time on them cell phones kill honeybees.....these days honey is used by hr8 patients & they would also someday die if this is continuously followed.

However this has not yet happened. Until it does or seriously threatens to do so then technology is still good. At the moment we are a long way off the sci-fi doomsday scenario from such films as the Terminator.
So long as we ensure that we think through all decisions then the idea of a robot army running riot on humanity is nothing but a bad dream (Or a good film).
The debate that robots will take over the world wouldnt be technologies fault, but how the people used it. We have learned and are still learning that we need to look at all possible outcomes before we add new technology or create 'robot soldiers'.
THINK ROBOT ARMIES WITH A MIND OF THEIR OWN!! :O
Its bad enough when you have to listen to a computer going on and no human.Very impersonal.

Technology can also help us find solutions to global warming. Without computers we wouldn't be able to run simulations to determine what the probable outcomes of the environmental damage.
Modern Technology may increase the temperature of the planet but also supports the existence of 6-7 billion humans for which without technology would simply no be sustainable.
Global Warming is a process that occurs naturally anyway, though we are expediting the current process we can pretty much guarantee that we know what will happen as a result (An ice age of the likes of previous ones). Technology helped us (humans) through the last one and will help us through the next one too.
The world goes through cycles of "ice age' and "global warming" and it always has (according to history). But in the end, the whole recent scam of global warming was just that, a scam. The scientists being paid by the US government to research global warming ended up finding out that global warming isn't actually occurring. Upon investigation the government found out these scientists were bringing up this scare to keep the money from the government lining their pockets. So currently global warming isn't happening, but it will be inevitable.
Modern technology comsumes too much energy so raising the temperature of the planet. Global warming which in large part is caused by modern technology (ever since the 'modern' age began back with the Industrial revolution and the invention of the steam engine). This means that at the moment technology is going to cause our demise potentially for most of the human race if the changes become too rapid.

It could lead us to the end of the world earlier then it should naturally
Life existed before money... obviously if someone stole all the money that one person would be cut out of the loop, have their money invalidated by the world and they'd start over.. money is controlled by governments and technically plays by their rules. (They can print more or just not accept a currency).
Sure a bomb could end the world.. we technically have 'planet crackers' of a kind, we've had nuclear warheads thousands of times stronger than the Hiroshima bomb, 40 years ago the Tsar 'kind of bombs' was detonated and that was only half its potential because it might kill too much..
Technology is knowledge and is not by itself a bad thing, it is in fact our wisdom of using such knowledge that leads to catastrophes.. Sure without the knowledge that probably couldn't happen, but without continual progress we would not be able to support society as it grows. The power generated by nuclear weapons has also stopped world wars due to the fear of 'mutual annihilation' and currently provides a great percentage of the power requirements of the modern world which otherwise would be burning fossil fuels and trees to the point of exhausting those resources.

Somebody creates a bomb by using advanced technology enough to blow the world up! Or even to create a virus to steal and hack peoples accounts and get well hard earned money all over the world. No money means no life.

even though people are taking their own lives because of bullying. but many police officers are trying their best in keeping the community happy such as calling other officers to see how their town is going and they can also give them more advice.
Before Cyber bullying was bullying, before hand held games there were consoles and before that just regular tv. Before i pod was the CD player and before the boom box ect. ect. The point is, these forms of entertainment are nothing new and should not be used as an excuse. It's people like you that poison our world because you take the greatest inventions and turn them into a device thats bad for humanity when in reality, the helpfulness of the tool is far beyond its evils that would probably still occur without said device.

Children all over the world have now got mobiles, PC, gaming consoles (including things like ipod, PSP, DS, etc.) which are affecting their education. This also leads to the most important, CYBER BULLYING. Cyber bullying is leading to more frequent deaths to people under 18 such as suicidal deaths. Technology is leading us to the worst for our future. The children wont get proper jobs when they grow up and they will end up on the streets.

i believe that modern technology can help us such as the modern technology we are inventing are creating more cures for dangerous dieseases, and they are great for communicating such as for job assignment and even for school education. even though it can hurt people, it can also save people and help people in their lives might not be now, but we could find a way to heal radiation or even use radiation to our benefit in some way, whether it cures us or makes us more able to do something as what i have known modern technology can harm people such as radiation(for example) can cause death to human lives.

Increase in destruction from equipment in wars or fights
Trolling or?
We have the bombs that can clear multiple cities with one bomb. We have rocket launchers capable of blowing up buildings from the inside out. We have grenade launchers holding several grenades. We could take down multiple cities within a few seconds and use about 6 bombs to destroy a small country right now.
Thats the scary truth. However, technology may be able to bring upon some kind of defense to bombs and explosions to protect cities. How? Personally i'm not sure, but thats what technology is for, to create things that we don't know and thats what make it so amazing
if people increase the number or force in equipmnet such as bombs and guns, they would eb able to destroy whole city in a few seconds instead of now when you actually have to drop about 6 bombs to destroy part of a city

Baseball or football could lead to getting hit by the ball or tackled causing broken bones, bloody noses, bruises ect. Checkers and chess could take away from homework, work or chores. These things are not really "Technology" yes could have the same or worse results. No chess and checkers are not really the "in thing" at the moment, but my point is is that without said technology there would just be something else to distract our minds
